May Calamawy is an actress. Her roles include television’s The Long Road Home, Ramy, and Moon Knight, and the films Djinn (2013) and Together Together. She has also been billed by her birth name May El Calamawy.

She was born in Bahrain, and raised in Houston, Texas, U.S., and Doha, Qatar. Her father is an Egyptian banker. She studied in Boston, Massachusetts in her late teens, and after living in Dubai, moved back to the U.S. to act beginning in 2015.
