Place of Birth: Tacoma, Washington, U.S.

Date of Birth: January 12, 1998

Ethnicity: German, English, one eighth Finnish, and likely some Muscogee Native American

Nathan Gamble is an American actor. He has starred in the Dolphin Tale films, and also appeared in The Mist (2007) and The Dark Knight.

Nathan’s paternal grandfather was Melvin Maurice Gamble (the son of Carroll Dean “Carl” Gamble and Sophia Fredrica Wenzel). Melvin was born in Huron, South Dakota. Carl was the son of William Henry Gamble and Luella E. “Lulu” Kemp. Sophia was born in Iowa, to German parents, Edward Peter Wenzel and Theresa Rinnet/Rennet.

Nathan’s paternal grandmother is Joan Stelter (the daughter of William/Wilhelm Friedrich/Frederick Stelter and Stella/Estella Ida Klatt). Joan was born in Wisconsin. William was the son of Friedrich C. Stelter and Auguste Henriette Stabenow. Stella was the daughter of William Klatt and Olga Mathilda Kromery.

Nathan’s maternal grandfather is Jackie Don Prestridge (the son of Douglas Odell Prestridge and Annie Ray/Rae Berryhill). Jackie likely was born in Texas. Douglas was the son of William Anderson Prestridge and Lenora Jane Bradham. Annie was the daughter of Thomas William Berryhill and Dessie Marie Parker. Annie’s likely great-great-grandfather, William Berryhill, appeared on the 1832 Creek census in Thlakatchka. He was most probably of mixed English and Muscogee descent, and his wife Elizabeth also was of Muscogee heritage.

Nathan’s maternal grandmother is Carol Ann Turner (the daughter of Edward Warden/Warren Turner and Florence Vieno Lindros). Edward was the son of Albert Edward Turner and Edna Millicent Shepherd. Florence was the daughter of Finnish parents, Adolph/Adolf Lindros and Aino Ketola/Ketlo.

If I’m not mistaken, Muscogee and Creek are the same thing, and it should all be under the same tag.

He possibly has distant Muscogee ancestry through the Berryhill line. Annie’s likely great-great-grandfather William Berryhill was on 1832 Creek census in Thlakatchka. He was of mixed ancestry, his father’s line goes back to British immigrants. I think his wife Elizabeth was also Muscogee. Annie’s great.grandfather William, likely the son of William and Elizabeth, is listed as white on 1860 census, or better said, he’s not listed as anything, which usually means white.
