how could someone say the british isles produces attractive people, i’d say they’re some of the least attractive in europe, the nordic countries is where you get the more perfect aesthetically pleasing people, and western mediterraneans can be very attractive too (spain, portugal, italy), I’ve also seen some very attractive people from france and germany. Eastern Europeans can be attractive since they have a more unique look compared to the rest of europe, particularly poland, serbia and croatia but many eastern europeans can be very displeasing to look at, at the same time, i would not deem them “most attractive”. Out of all of Europe the nords (norwegian, swedish, danish, finnish, icelandic) are most definitely the people who lucked in with genes, tall, light hair, light eyes, narrow defined features, it’s foolishness to debate that.
That is just a bigoted statement. As if the British Isles doesn’t produce attractive people? There are plenty of not very attractive people in all populations. Statements like that just show people’s prejudices. So the British can’t be attractive and just a few miles across the water the Dutch and French are? I think one of the most beautiful actresses of all time is English and that is Julie Christie. Vivien Leigh is also one of the most beautiful women in my opinion and she is mostly of British Isles ancestry. I think people like to see what they want and put some nationalities on a pedestal.

of course i’m generalising, you’ll get attractive people from every country and i have seen attractive people from the british isles, but when i think of attractive places in europe, the british isles is most definitely not one that comes to mind, as for the dutch, i never said i found dutch attractive, i’ve never seen an attractive dutch person even though their reputation says otherwise, french i’ve seen some gorgeous ones but i’ve also seen some very ugly ones. When i think of beautiful countries i think: sweden, spain, italy, norway, denmark and to a lesser extent; germany, poland, france, crotia. England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales are not stereotyped/perceived to be destinations of attractive people and nor would i deem the general population as being “note worthy” when it comes to attractiveness, i apologise if you’re offended being of irish blood alice, but i don’t mean it personally and as a matter of fact I have distant irish ancestry myself and I don’t particularly find any of the other countries my ancestors came from as places that produce attractive people. Generalisations and stereotypes will always exist, doesn’t mean you won’t get exceptions, I’m just stating my opinion

It’s just playing to stereotypes. Most Aussies are of British Isles descent and Americans as well. Most people with those opinions haven’t actually been to those countries that they are judging. I myself would never say a country of people are not attractive. If people put up group photos of nationalities it is surprising how many people judge incorrectly where people come from. This is because they have a stereotype in their mind and why people always say that certain people don’t look like their nationality. A lot of these stereotypes are just reinforced by people who have never travelled but just base their opinion on other people’s comments who are in the same position as themselves.
Icelandic people for example are a mixture of Norse, Irish and Scots but people put them on a pedastal even though they have never been there. Brazil is another country that people have a stereotype of as being good looking. Most people everywhere are just average. Unfortunately now most people everywhere are getting fat. The key to looking good is healthy eating and exercise.
Hi Alice, you’re right. You can find good or bad looking people everywhere. I dont really know about men coz I like women, but in East Europe (Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, also Baltic countries), women generally look better than local men. Guess why Prague or Budapest are capitals of porn industry..

Dude, I lived in Ireland and men there are all ginger and pale, they are ugly. Southern europeans like greeks, italians, iberians, are the most beautiful men. Girls are indistinctly beautiful wherever you go in Europe, though.

I worked in a modelling agency in Montenegro, and this model considered the most beautiful In the agency is ABSURDLY beautiful. People tell her to send a pic of herself to Hollywood. how about instead of debating where in europe the best people exist when europe is a big mixing bag of all subraces jumbled up, we all just agree europeans as a whole are the most aesthetically pleasing regardless of the region
To some extent we all find attractive what we are used to see since our childhood. What means that no sub-Saharan African or East Asian would agree with you, and he or she is right, of course.
I was grown up with Northern German/Danish phenotypes and find many of them (in a familiar way) attractive. However, there are also many I find not attractive. And I also like brown-haired Southern Europeans/French or Jewish women. My girlfriend is Jewish and blew me away when I first saw her (when I thought she is French, but she is Hungarian – Ashkenazi, of course). There are Japanese women I find very attrative, and Indians, and Afro-Americans. Some of the most attractive men I know are Afro-Americans, others are French. So I’m sure it’s something you can’t name by “race” or skin colour and definitely not by nationality that attracts us.
