Michelle van Eimeren is an Australian beauty queen and actress. She was placed 11th in Miss Universe 1994, representing Australia.

Her father, Martinus Gerardus van Eimeren, is a Dutch emigrant, from Amsterdam. Her mother, Lorraine Mary (Byrne), is Australian, from Sydney, New South Wales.

Michelle is married to Mark Morrow. She has two children with her former husband, singer, songwriter, comedian and actor Ogie Alcasid, including singer and songwriter Leila Alcasid.

Michelle’s patrilineal ancestry can be traced back to her seventh great-grandfather, Cornelis van Eijmeren.

Michelle’s paternal grandfather was Martinus Johannes “Martin” van Eimeren (the son of Johannes Hendrikus van Eimeren and Emerentia Elisabeth Monica “Emmy” Pel). Michelle’s grandfather Martinus was born in Utrecht, Utrecht. Johannes was the son of Antonius Leendert van Eimeren and Mina Geetruida Dekkers, later Janssen. Emerentia was the daughter of Martinus Johannes Pel and Everdina Johanna Boompjes, later Spronk.

Michelle’s paternal grandmother was Cornelia Emerentia Klerks (the daughter of Bernardus Klerks and Geertje Biesheuvel). Cornelia was born in Aalsmeer, North Holland. Bernardus was the son of Harpert Klerks and Emerensia Hegeman. Geertje was of part German and remote English descent, and was the daughter of Adriaan Biesheuvel and Cornelia Christina Kniep.

Michelle’s maternal grandfather was Claude Tarlinton John Byrne (the son of James Tarlinton Byrne and Mary Hilda Warren). Claude was born in Bodalla, New South Wales. James was the son of Charles Joseph Byrne, whose grandparents were all Irish convicts, and of Mary Theresa Tarlinton, whose grandparents were all English convicts. Hilda was the daughter of George Edwin Warren, who was from Newlyn, Cornwall, England, and of Mary Ann Slattery, who was of Irish descent.

Michelle’s maternal grandmother was Mary Margaret Cochrane (the daughter of James “Jim” Cochrane and Margaret “Marget” O’Donnall). Michelle’s grandmother Margaret was born in Keiraville, New South Wales. James was the son of Scottish emigrants, John Kennedy Rutherford Cochrane, of Glasgow, and of Mary Ann Hogg, of Canonbie, Dumfriesshire.
