Very strange conversations over nothing. The man stated both of his parents are black, per the U.S.’s one percent rule, and its a given, the majority, if not all African Americans have some European blood running through their veins. The term ‘African American’ is a mixture of African and European.

  2. Multiethnicchick says:

bull shit. His hair texture and facial features all point to him being mixed. This what you call denial

    • midori29 says:

His hair texture is a regular Black texture. Both his parents are black he is not recently mixed. I actually knew him before he became famous. He would know me. I know his background. He is simply African American for sure.

  3. anniebe says:

He clearly has European ancestry as well. Sure, he’s black, but don’t all jump at once and say ‘he’s 100% black’. Black people love to say “but black people can have blue or green eyes too!”. Why? because they prefer those eye colors and have self hate. blue or green eyes in someone who is ‘100% african; comes down to either genetic mutation or some syndrome and when it does its accompanied with health problems like deafness. When a black person, especially african american has blue or green eyes they have european in them

      @anniebe

(He clearly has European ancestry as well. Sure, he’s black, but don’t all jump at once and say ‘he’s 100% black’.)

I don’t think anyone said he was 100% black. However since he isn’t a first or second generation mixs, that European ancestry is down the line( at least from what I can see). A great grandparent maybe

( Black people love to say “but black people can have blue or green eyes too!”. )

Well seeing how the first person to have blue eyes was a black person , it’s apparently true. The pale skin mutation that produced white people hadn’t come about yet, but blue eyes were already around(based on current information)

(Why? because they prefer those eye colors and have self hate.)

I’m sure there are black people who want blue or green eyes. however I can say I’ve never been around a group of black people who were full of self hate because they didn’t have them. I never been around any who ever mention wanting blue eyes. So I don’t know who or how many people you surveyed, but they weren’t from around here.

( blue or green eyes in someone who is ‘100% african; comes down to either genetic mutation or some syndrome and when it does its accompanied with health problems like deafness. )

Only Waardenburg syndrome gives problems like that, the other ones don’t. Also all colors outside of brown were originally genetic malfunctions or mutations. There probably were many people with light eyes in Africa over the thousands of years. However Africans in the past, as well as now were a little funny. They have a bad habit of killing things that are out of the ordinary(like they do with the pale albinos). Some African tribes when first seeing a white person, thought they were sick and dying(because of their pale skin. While others tried to kill the white man thinking he was a evil (for lack of a better word) Demon

(When a black person, especially african american has blue or green eyes they have european in them)

This is a contradiction to what you just wrote. You just said a 100% African can have those eyes through genetic mutation. Therefore meaning no European help

      • midori29 says:

He is just as much European as the average African American which is not that much. 15% average. But of all the celebrities on this site I can speak on him because I actually know him. And his eyes are STUNNING in person. They are turquoise ocean blue not white people eyes blue, his are a deep odd color ocean blue. Like a Carribean sea blue, very very striking! Black people were the first people on earth, all of the eye colors and features are originally African.

        • IMISCHA says:

@ANNIEBE ACTUALLY THE BLACK PEOPLE FROM THE SOLOMON ISLANDS HAVE A LOT OF PEOPLE WITH VERY DARK SKIN, BLUE EYES AND BLONDE HAIR AND SCIENCE SHOWS AT NONE OF THEM HAVE ANY KIND OF EUROPEAN INFLUENCE WHATSOEVER. THEY ARE CALLED MELONESE AND IT IS A DOMINANT TRAIT IN THEIR ISLANDS TO HAVE BLONDE HAIR AND BLUE EYES WITH DARKER SKIN SO BEING PART EUROPEAN ISNT THE ONLY ANSWER TO HIS BLUE EYES. HE COULD BE PART MELONESE WHICH WOULD MEAN HE IS ALL BLACK.

          • IMISCHA says:

AND BTW REGARDLESS IF IT OFFENDS ANYONE, I AM MIXED. MY MOTHER IS ALL KINDS OF EUROPEAN AND MY FATHER WAS BLACK AND INDIAN. NOT NATIVE AMERICAN I MEAN INDIAN. I LOOK LIKE A LIGHT PUERTO RICAN OR DOMINICAN AND HONESTLY I WISH I DIDNT. I WISH I HAD DARKER SKIN AND HAIR THAT DREADS EASILY. I LOVE THE LOOK OF VERY DARK SKIN AND DETEST MY VERY LIGHT COMPLEXION. IT IS WHAT IT IS THOUGH. DO NOT ASSUME HOWEVER THAT BLACK PEOPLE HAVE SELF HATE BECAUSE OF THEIR DARKER FEATURES. IF ANYONE ASKS IM A PROUD BLACK WOMAN WHO JUST WISHES SHE HAD A LOT MORE COLOR.

          • Rella says:

The Melanese aren’t black. They’re Melanese. Pacific Islanders, if you will. Dark skin doesn’t automatically make someone black.

      • lanadelrey says:

you are dumb oh my god, he clearly have european ancestry no only his eyes, even his nose and mouth, they are not fine as fuck but they are clearly not the same as the average african american his features are kindly thiner and more european- look.

        • AmberShuman says:

Lmfao, na, you’re dumb. His nose is wide and lips are full. Not saying white people don’t have full lips, but let’s be real, it’s not very common. White people have slimmer noses & less fuller lips (the average white person). We all know this. Because, white people were the same people making fun of black people for their wide noses & full lips. Not saying he does not have European ancestry, because most likely every black person now, has European ancesty, due to slavery. He has “black features””, so let’s cut the shit. Also, his hair is 3c-4a, common black people textured hair. Come on now.

    • You are a rude person to say black people have self-hate. It’s called melanin. Something having to do with dark-brown eyes. Something that colored eye humans don’t have. I never wished to have traits like blue or green eyes. Stop putting yourself on top of a category where you don’t belong. Your vapidness is weak on this statement.

    • abritanyxo says:

You are an idiot. He has the most African looking features. What are you on? Lol white people want to claim every attractive person.

  4. I honestly don’t care what this man is mixed with. I take great pride of my chocolate-brown complexion and dark brown irises. Also to mention, fluffy Afro. I just want to let people know this because many self-centered beings out there would think otherwise.

But my statement is that he could be mixed with another race besides white. People need to see/know that white isn’t the only race that possesses such traits. That’s all. :P

  5. Capricious says:

His parents are both black indeed. Doesn’t mean they don’t have white ancestors.

Where the hell did those bright blue eyes come from? Western Africa? Lol…

    • This is why I hate ignorance. You can still have different colored eyes and not have white ancestry whatsoever. Look at the Melanesians. Which are Solomon Islanders or Fijians, they have red, brown, or blonde hair with green or blue eyes with very dark skin without any white ancestry. Who’s to say he’s not mix with them? There are even Africans with blue eyes also. What are they called? Albinos. People are too consume in such stupidity it’s a shame.

      • fuzzybear44 says:

        @LucarioCooper

(There are even Africans with blue eyes also. What are they called? Albinos.)

You’re right Africans do have blue eyes. Waardenburg syndrome is one source, which is not uncommon in Cameroon(although the people there do suffer from deafness as well as other things). Then there’s Ocular Albinism which only affects the eyes. African Americans also are affected by both of these causes as well as their possible European ancestry(however from my understanding ,for it to come from your European heritage, it has to come from both sides of your families). My niece was Diagnose with Ocular Albinism which is why I’ve been studying it.

      • andrew says:

@Lucario Melanesians are the only non-Caucasians who has blondism, it’s obvious thjs guy blue eyes are due to Euro admixture and not to albinism.

      • Multiethnicchick says:

denial much. Melanesians aren’t black, they’re australoid, completely different geographical cline of humans. His parents are said to be black Americans so obviously not mixed with Melanesian, fijan, etc. Stop denying white ancestry. He’s probably in Rihanna’s range of admixture. At least 1/4 white, no less

        • You’re being denial. In never said Melanesians were ‘black’, either. Although, they did travel from one the hottest part of Africa and have close DNA with the people there. That’s why their features look the way they look.

But some still have a quite narrow nose and small lips. And hair texture is straight too. Most curly/Afro-textured.

I just hate when people automatically see ‘blue eyes’ and think white people. Which isn’t just the point here. We don’t know where his ancestry came from. Yeah, it could be white or no, it could be something else. Stop making other people sound like they don’t know what they’re are talking about. Especially, since you are the one who sounds ‘denial’.

        • midori29 says:

@Multiethnic chick, some scientists recently determined that YES Australoids are related to African negroids and thus were black

        • midori29 says:

Everyone came from Africa, all the DNA. Its sad that people cannot see thier dark brown skin is originally African. Yes dark skin means African

        • AmberShuman says:

I must say, you are a real life fucking idiot if you think light color eyes is only exclusive to white people. I’m sorry, but you are a real dumb ass & you should most definitely educate yourself before you go talking that kind of bull shit. Why is it that, light color eyes are supposedly only & automatically only exclusive to white people, but dark color eyes arent? Dark color just so happens to be exclusive to everyone, but light eyes aren’t? LMFAO, okay. LIGHT EYES IS A MUTATION. MUTATIONS ARE NOT EXCLUSIVELY FOR WHITES ONLY. ANYONE CAN HAVE THIS MUTATION. Simply because, we all are human & we all have the same shit. You dont have to automatically have European ancestry to have light eyes. There are FULLY black people with this mutation. Because you see mostly white people with light eyes, it automatically means only they can have it? No. Fucking idiot & highly uneducated dumb ass. Im not saying Michael Ealy doesnt have European ancestry, because to face the facts, majority of people of color in America do. Due to slavery & the pig ass slave owners raping Black women. This is in the simple fact that you think someome automatically has to have European ancestry to explainnwhybthey have light eyes.

    • midori29 says:

Yes blue eyes can come from Western Africa. A recent Nigerian black couple had a blue eyed and blonde baby, click link:
