So many good looking American celebrities of British ancestry. Yet so many claim the British have bad genetics haha.

It is Scotch-Irish or Ulster Scots not “Northern Irish”, his O’Neill descent would be real northern Irish, the Scotch-Irish protestants were only in north Ireland a few generations when they moved to America.
The O’Neills came from right in the center of modern Northern Ireland

Matt was born in Spring, Texas (or as he pronounces it, “Spraaang”). There is an interview from the Ellen Degeneres show from January 2011 where he states this, and also talks about how the drama department at Carnegie-Mellon worked to bust his Texas accent out of hum: “To beyyy ir not to beyyy just doesn’t sound rahhht…”

I believe you have Matt mixed up with his character, Neal Caffrey, who (according to “White Collar” series canon) WAS born in St. Louis…

In the clip, Ellen asks him where he is “from”, and he answers “Spring, Texas”. He doesn’t say he was born there, and there’s definitely a difference. And he wasn’t born there. Perhaps Neal Caffrey’s birthplace is a tribute to Matt’s own birthplace.

BTW, I think Matt Bomer looks like Evan and Jaron Lowenstein. That is why I brought them up yesterday.
