Shelley Fabares is an American actress and singer. She is known for her work on the sitcoms The Donna Reed Show and Coach, and in the films Ride the Wild Surf, Girl Happy, Hold On!, Spinout, Clambake, and A Time to Sing. She is also known as Shelly Fabares.

She is the daughter of Elsa Rose and James Alan Fabares. Her father was from Algiers, New Orleans. Her mother was born in Manila, Philippines, to American parents. Her paternal aunt was actress, singer, and dancer Nanette Fabray (Ruby Bernadette Nanette Theresa Fabares). She is married to actor Mike Farrell.

Shelley’s paternal grandfather was Raoul Bernard Fabares (the son of Bernard Fabares and Eleonore/Elenor/Eleanor Richarme). Raoul was born in Pointe à la Hache, Plaquemines, Louisiana. Shelley’s great-grandfather Bernard was born in Lacassagne, Hautes-Pyrénées, France, the son of François Fabares/Fabre and Marie Thereza Latapie/Lertafie. Eleonore was born in Louisiana, the daughter of Jean Richarme, who was from Les Clefs, Haute-Savoie, France; and of Amelia Hague, who was from Florida.
