She is the daughter of singer and actress Carlin Glynn and actor, director, producer, and writer Peter Masterson (Carlos Bee Masterson). She is married to actor Jeremy Davidson, with whom she has three children.

Mary’s paternal grandfather was Carlos Bee Masterson (the son of Alexander Ewing Masterson and Mary Stewart Cochran).
