    I’m always curious what the definition of “Filipino-Chinese” and “Chinese-Filipino” mean, on here. How we typically use it in the west is to mean someone race/ethnicity+nationality. But that is not how it appears to be used on this site, which makes things a bit confusing. In these cases, we’re using it to mean mixed ethnicity/race, right?

      I would think of Chinese-Filipino as a Filipino of Chinese descent. So Filipino-Chinese is a bit backwards when the person is actually from the Philippines. The reason it’s written like that is probably because he is described that way in the article. But don’t blame me, I wrote “Filipino, Chinese” originally.
