Maggie Wheeler is an American actress. She is known for her role on the series Friends and Ellen. She has also been billed as Maggie Jakobson.

She is the daughter of Barbara and John Jakobson. She is married to sculptor Daniel Borden Wheeler, with whom she has two children.

Maggie’s paternal grandfather was Louis Jakobson (the son of Adolph Sam Jakobson and Fanny Leftrist/Lefkowitz). Louis was born in New York, to parents from Hungary.

Maggie’s paternal grandmother was Lucille B. Rafelson (the daughter of Abraham J. Rafelson and Hattie London). Lucille was born in New York. Abraham was originally from either Poland or Russia. Hattie was born in New York, to parents from Germany.
