Louis C.K. is an American stand-up comedian, writer, actor, and filmmaker.

Louis’s paternal grandfather was a Hungarian Jewish immigrant to Mexico. Louis’s paternal grandmother was Mexican-born, Catholic, and had Spanish and Indigenous ancestry. Louis has said that his paternal grandfather did not tell his paternal grandmother that he was Jewish; until, presumably, a later stage in their relationship. Louis’s father was raised Catholic, and so was Louis. Later in life, Louis’s father converted to Judaism, the faith of Louis’s stepmother.
Louis’s mother had Irish, German, and English ancestry. She was raised Catholic.
Louis has two children with his former wife, artist and painter Alix Bailey.

Louis’s paternal grandmother was named Rosario Sánchez Morales (the daughter of parents surnamed Sánchez and Morales).
Louis’s maternal grandfather was Alfred Clare Davis (the son of John Parker Davis and Amelia Martin). Alfred was born in Michigan, to Canadian parents. John was the son of Thomas Davis, of County Cavan, Ireland, and of Margaret Bell Parker, whose parents were English. Amelia was the daughter of Constantine Martin and Mary Ellen McGee, who were of Irish descent.
Louis’s maternal grandmother was Margaret Louise Andree (the daughter of Alwin Ewald Andree and Laura/Lana Louisa Hore Wilson). Margaret was born in Michigan. Alwin was born in Michigan, the son of German parents, Ewald/Edwald H. Andree and Augusta/Auguste Wilde. From what I’ve seen Louis CK say his Mexican grandmother was from the Whiter ruling class with money, that’s mainly Criollos. Whether his Mexican grandmother was Criolla or Castiza, I’d put Louis CK at 91-97 percent European, the rest likely being indigenous.
Lana L. —> Ella Elizabeth Carter
Ella was born in New Lowell, Ontario, Canada, the daughter William Carter, and Jane “Jennie” Taylor, and was of English and Scottish descent.

This may be John Parker Davis. It would mean his mother was of English descent:

Ella Elizabeth Carter was C.K.’s step-great-grandmother.

Don´t see the native mexican side.
It’s remarkable how european he looks with that background.
Literally created an account to reply to this dirt dumb 3.5 year old comment.
The dude is a full HALF ‘Anglo-Saxon, ‘ another quarter Hungarian, and the remaining quarter is a mix of more European and Native American. In other words, the dude is like minimum 87% white. How the fuck would he look like anything but European?
You think his 1/8 or whatever Indigenous is going to make him look like Yalitza Aparicio? Come on. Dude is almost entirely European.
I don’t doubt that he’s mestizo, even if his indigenous blood isn’t extremely significant. My friend is one fourth indigenous mexican and she’s pale as a ghost with blue eyes and brown hair. (Though she definitely has the features.)
Well if his grandmother was a mestiza, he’d be 1/8th Native.
Mestizos are not necessarily 50 % and 50 %. Really most of them are not
I’m well aware of this, most Mexican mestizos are actually harnizo, but in Latin America anybody who has European and Amerindian heritage is pretty much labelled mestizo.
Yeah but you are saying that he must be 1/8th indigenous. He only could be 1/8th indigenous, if his grandmothr is 50%(1/2th) indigenous, something that I doubt-
