Linda Evans is an American actress. She is known for her roles, as Krystle Carrington on Dynasty, and The Big Valley, both television series, and in the films Beach Blanket Bingo, Avalanche Express, and Tom Horn.

Linda is the daughter of Arlene Cecilia/Cecelia and Alba Evenstad, who were professional dancers. Her father was of Norwegian ancestry. Her mother was of mostly English descent, along with some German, smaller amounts of Irish and Polish, and distant Scottish and Welsh, ancestry, including some deep lines in the U.S. Linda was raised mostly in North Hollywood, California.

Linda’s paternal grandfather was Haakon Mathius/Mathias Evenstad (the son of Mathias/Mattias Knudsen Evenstad and Oline Jensen Olsdatter Sveen). Haakon was born on Evenstad farm, Nes, Hedmark, Norway. Linda’s great-grandfather Mathias was the son of Knud Knudsen Evenstad and Kari Tostensdatter Knudsen. Oline was the daughter of Ole Jensen Taskerud and Mette Håvelsdatter/Hovelsdatter.

Linda’s paternal grandmother was Ann/Anna Caroline Nilsen/Nelson (the daughter of Ove Benoni Nilsen/Nelson and Adreanna/Andreanna/Adrianna Olsdatter Skjellegrind/Henning). Anna was born in Minnesota, to Norwegian parents. Ove was born in Stod, Nord-Trøndelag, the son of Nils Nilson/Baardsen and Ingeborg Pauline Olsdatter. Adreanna was born in Sparbu, Steinkjer, Nord-Trondelag, the daughter of Ole Andersen Tollstad and Anne Marie Eriksdatter.

Linda’s maternal grandfather was Fredrick Allen Malcolm Dart (the son of George Augustus Dart and Hattie Adella Covey). Fredrick was born in Minnesota. George was born in Pennsylvania, the son of Albert Dart and Sibyl Peake, whose own mother was an Irish immigrant. Hattie was born in Minnesota, the daughter of Wilder F./S. Covey and Sarah J. Wilson, who were from Vermont.

Linda’s maternal grandmother was Viola Muriel Konarsky (the daughter of Frederick Charles “Fred” Konarsky and Sarah Isabella Davis). Viola was born in Manhattan, New York. Frederick was the son of Mathilde/Matilda Schoeppe/Schöppe, who was born in New York, to German immigrants. Frederick’s father was possibly Rudolph Gotthardt Hermann Konarsky, a German emigrant, from Hermeskeil, Rhineland-Palatinate, who likely had at least part Polish ancestry. Linda’s great-grandmother Sarah was the daughter of John E. Davis and Sarah Pearson, who were born in the U.S., both of them to English immigrants.

Rudolph Konarsky was the husband of Mathilde’s older sister, Christine Schoeppe (an affaire?). That may explain Rudolph’s absence from Fred’s family records. Perhaps Fred and his sister were illegitimate children, something scandalous for the time.

I would put it this way.

Fred Konasky and Isabella Davis were the parents of Viola Muriel. It says so in the marriage documents with Fredrick Dart.
