Lance Stroll is a Canadian racing driver. He races in Formula One for Aston Martin, under the Canadian flag. He has also driven for Williams and Racing Point, and has been Italian F4 champion in 2014, Toyota Racing Series champion in 2015, and 2016 FIA European Formula 3 champion.

His father is Canadian billionaire businessperson Lawrence Stroll, who is a part-owner and executive chairman of Aston Martin, and owns the Aston Martin F1 Team. His mother is Belgian fashion designer Claire-Anne Callens. His father is Ashkenazi Jewish. Lance holds both Canadian and Belgian citizenship. He speaks English, French, Flemish, and Italian.

Lance’s paternal grandfather was fashion importer Lyner “Leo” Stroll/Strulovitch/Strulović (the son of Louis Strulovitch/Strulović and Freda). Louis was born in Barlad, Romania.

Lance’s paternal grandmother was named Sandra Bloomfield (the daughter of Sol Bloomfield and Fanny).
