Lance Reddick was an American actor and musician. Among his many roles were the series Oz, The Wire, Lost, Fringe, Bosch, and Resident Evil, and the films The Siege, Don’t Say a Word, Won’t Back Down, White House Down, Oldboy, The Guest, John Wick, and its sequels, Monster Party, Angel Has Fallen, Godzilla vs. Kong, and One Night in Miami…

He was the son of Dorothy (Gee), who taught instrumental music, and Solomon Reddick, an educator and public defender. He moved to Boston, Massachusetts, in the 1980s. Lance was married to Stephanie Day, until his death. He had two children.

    I’m not sure where the surname Reddick comes from, but even on his father’s obituary, his brothers have the last name Walker. Seeing as he’s the oldest, maybe his mother remaried.
