Kiele’s maternal grandfather was named Edward T. Beauvais.

Kiele’s maternal grandmother was Bernice Ipczy (the daughter of Andrew L. Ipczynski/Ipczy and Helen Wojcik). Bernice was born in Illinois. Andrew was born in Illinois, the son of Polish parents, Ladyslaw/Walter Ipczynski and Josepha Majewski. Helen was born in Illinois, also of Polish descent, the daughter of John P. Wojcik and of Walerya/Valeria/Valerie Barbara Kosnowska/Kosnowski.
