Keri is not mixed. Both parents are black…I met them. Her mother is dark-skinned, dad a little lighter and has light-brown eyes. But she is not mixed. We blacks can look this way, and not stereotypically blacked…we are a sea of people. This is the 21th century and ppl are stil IGNORANT to that.
Most African-Americans have some European admixture, light skin or dark skinned ones, there have been genetic studies done on them. It’s just like how genetic studies say about 1 in 3 self-identified White Americans have very distant African ancestry going back as far as colonial times. Sorry, but it’s true. I know many African-Americans don’t want to believe that which is understandable but don’t call people ignorant because they can see some White in Keri. I don’t think she is mixed, i’m sure the majority of her heritage is African, but i bet she gets that lighter colour from another ancestry.

Now if only white Americans knew their ancestry. White Americans just think they’re only of European admixture lol. Most of them are, however, the exceptions are there. I’ve seen so many whites that i could question if they’re a part of the 1/3 of whites living in the united states that have black ancestry.There is a documentary on youtube of a white college professor talking about this ( i forgot the name of it). He found out he was 9% Sub-Saharan African. You will never see the majority talk about this! A white person with beautiful plump lips, the body of a goddess, or of a darker skin complexion and curly hair… hmmm they must have “native american” in their family LOL. Since blacks don’t have their African last names anymore, how would you be able to tell? You have to take a DNA test! And DNA are the ones that tell the real truth, putting aside people’s bias emotional feelings towards race. Do you know The Delany Sisters’? Their mother was like 1/4 black and could pass for white, however, she didn’t because she felt she wouldn’t be herself. I wish people would put more emphasis on White Americans living with black ancestors. They need to be inform. If you do your research, there are sources to back this up. There’s only one human race. If people would learn to come together and appreciate other people’s features/uniqueness, we wouldn’t have problems. If everyone looked the same then life would be boring. That includes the black men who would carry the name. They broke our families etc. there was no possible way we’d even be simply aware of what our tribal name was. Also a only some of the enslaved women were raped or married to slave owners and some of those women had children from this trauma. A slave owner didn’t and didn’t desire to rape all his enslaved women nonstop. Also not all slave owners were rapists. And not every slave owner had an enslaved wife. So most offsprings of slaves were black actually.
Also at pp not all black people have a certain body shape I for one am a very petite and well stacked inverted triangle actually.

Well I’ve been studying Slavery for some years now.Now yes he did give the slaves his name(if he gave them a last name),but he was simply naming his property.That’s how they saw slaves,just property.They weren’t expecting the slaves to carry on their name.They weren’t never planning to send them off into the world,with the idea to be fruitful and multiple.

I don’t know where you got this idea from,but it wasn’t only just some enslaved women.This abuse happen often,from the owner,to his sons and overseers of the slaves,to the masters friends and relatives.There were news articles about white n@@@@s working in the fields,and households.Also I don’t know of any case where the male owner married a female slave,I mean it could have happen,I just don’t know about it.However female slave owners did on occasion marry the male slave

No not nonstop,but often.Also as I stated,it wasn’t just him.Sons ,other family members and friends,were offered these women.Which by public standards was okay,because any child produced by this,would be seen as a slave,therefore property.However you’re right,some were said to actually be decent human beings(for a slave owner)

Now I sure there were those who cared about their female slave.However,these women were not their(enslaved wives).A wife could say she had a headaches,a female slave couldn’t . She was his property that he could bounce up and down on anytime he felt like it. This is one of the main reasons for the exodus out of the south,after slavery.The black women encourages the move,because the white man still thought he had rights to the black woman.Even in towns that the black man founded in the west(white men followed). Now in these towns(where they were the law),they past local laws to make the white man leave the their women alone.
Even the male slaves weren’t save from rape.
Now there were a lot marriages and mutual relationships, that did take place between black and white in the early days.(1600-1700’s)
