Jordy Nelson is an American professional football player. He was a wide receiver, and played his professional career mainly with the Green Bay Packers but also with the Oakland Raiders of the in the National Football League (NFL).

Jordy is the son of Kim and Alan Nelson.

Jordy’s paternal grandfather was Raymond Lee Nelson (the son of Elmer Raymond Nelson and Alice May Cravens). Raymond was born in Kansas. Elmer was born in Kansas, the son of Swedish parents, Frank Victor Nelson and Anna Charlotte Nilsdotter. Alice was born in Kansas, the daughter of Joseph Ellsworth Cravens and Emily Frances Barry.

Jordy’s paternal grandmother was Mildred Joan Peterson (the daughter of Walter R. Rudolph Peterson and Ella V. Larson). Jordy’s maternal grandfather was Fred Wohler (the son of Laurin Virgil Wohler and Stella Elizabeth Hageman). Laurin was born in Kansas, the son of Frederick/Fred Daniel Wohler, whose father was from Knetterheide, Bad Salzuflen, Lippe, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany; and of Emma Wilhelmina Eversmeyer. Stella was born in Kansas, the daughter of John Hageman and Amanda Helen Arents.
