She has said, “I’m Hungarian and a quarter Black, so I’m a mutt.” Jessica’s father is of African-American and European descent. Jessica’s mother, whose surname is Szohr, has Hungarian and German, from her own father, and Irish and English, from her own mother, ancestry.
Jessica is married to Canadian professional ice hockey player Brad Richardson, with whom she has a daughter.
Jessica’s maternal grandfather is Ronald Szohr (the son of Philip S. Szohr and Marie C. Bayer). Ronald’s ancestry appears to be a mix of ethnic Germans and Hungarians. Philip was the son of Hungarian-born parents, Simon Szóhr/Sohr, from Tevel, and Erzsebeth/Elizabeth Grabenar, from Nagyvejke. Marie C. was also the daughter of Hungarian-born parents, Joseph Bayer and Clara, who was from Bács-Bodrog County.
Jessica’s maternal grandmother is Karen Bishop (the daughter of Arthur E. Bishop and Dorothy J. Hagan). Dorothy was the daughter of Donald Patrick Hagan and Ruth H. Bigelow.

I don’t think that she is ashamed of being a quarter black. Considering one of her parents is half black and not fully black, maybe that parent wasn’t raised with the complete black culture, but got to know more of his or her white culture. And considering Jessica’s other parent is hungarian, she was probably raised as knowing her hungarian side and more of her white side, so it isn’t that weird that she doesn’t relate to her black side a lot ( if that’s the case). It doesn’t necessarily mean she is ashamed just she doesn’t relate to it because she didn’t grow up with the culture of it etc. That is possible.
And for the moron that said that there isn’t a full black that has blue eyes, stfu.

And if jessica szohr was proud of her black side, she would go to black events, but does she, exactly. Halle berry goes to black events, cassie ventura goes to black events. Jessica does nothing to show that she’s proud of her black side, if I was black or half black, I would proudly be like yeah I’m half, and I would go to black events. Jessica Szohr is hiding that she has black in her. Why do you think she straightens it, so she can pass for white. And when I first saw her I was like oh my god, she’s a nig, you can tell she is, but most people can not. She’s exactly like Leona Lewis. They both aren’t proud of their black side.
To nobodyouknow
You wrote (nig),what kind of African are you?
Um, I didn’t. I don’t use derogatory terms for any racial groups. I’m Kenyan, btw.
To nobod
Ok your Kenyan,I don’understand this,I’ve talked to other kenyans who know about India, how is it you don’t?I mean if Africans left Africa, what makes you believe they didn’t go to India. If I was on my computer,I would show you the path the experts say they took.I’m sorry it’s hard for me see you didn’t know this.I guess I understand, maybe your not taught this, they did the same to black people over here, leaving out parts of history
haha thanks fuzzybear! i know this is mad old lol:)
thanks lena for the website. but to the people who doesnt think shes not proud or represent her black side, how do you guys know she doesnt rep or wat eva on goerge lopez show she tells him shes hungarian and a quater black
Mulatto is such an outdated term and is an extremely ignorant sounding label. Then, to list percentages of each ethnicity is so beyond ignorant and this millennium! We all are one! We have the same blood, feeling, joys and fears as other human beings. Get with the times or at least get educated.
