Jennifer Rush is an American singer and songwriter. She achieved worldwide fame, particularly in the mid-1980s. Her best known song is “Power of Love” from 1984.
She is the daughter of Barbara and Maurice Stern, who is a prominent operatic tenor, voice teacher, and sculptor. She lived in Germany during some of her teenage years, while her father performed at Städtische Bühnen Flensburg, and later in Seattle, Washington, where her father was a professor.
