Hispanic is Spaniard (European Spanish), Latino (Latin American Spanish generally mixed with other Ethnicities, and Cultures), or Latina is what you would say J-Lo is..why do they mix up the two? J-Lo is not Hispanic she is Latina, but Latino is not a Race it is a Culture this has also been confirmed by Latinos as well they know this Fact!

She’s not Latin-American (latina), her parents are! “Latina” is the word we use for Latin-American women and USA is not part of Latin-America. Puerto Rico is part od Latin America, but she was not born there. She is Hispanic at best. She probably knows the culture, so she’s Hispanic as well as her parents, but Latin-Americans are the people born in Latin America and she wasn’t.

Some people have their info all wrong. Read up on Dr. Juan Martinez Cruzado research of the Puerto Rican culture, he is very good in explaining everything we need to know about our raice. He states 61% Amerindian which is Taino, 27% African, and 12% Spaniard. We are 3 raices and of course along the way there was mixture of raices that came to Puerto Rico. Taino women married African men and the Spaniard raped the woman, back in the day. Also for Love. Stop hating. Just Love. Jennifer Lopez is a Puerto Rican the same as all the other Puerto Rican people, same blood.

Your talking about the mitochondrial DNA Studies he did. He found that 61% had Amerindian mtdna, 27% had African and 12% had European. For the Y chromosome he found that 70% of Puerto Rican men have a European Y Chromosome. While 20% have an African Y chromosome, and 10% have an Amerindian Y Chromosome. Which means a majority of Puerto Rican people are mixed race and J. LO is too. I think J Lo has features from all three races.
