I wish someone would stop putting these Latin American nationalities as ethnicities. Puerto Rican is not an ethnicity. But I understand. It may be hard for some people to trace their heritage.

1 min 3 seconds in. The girl comments now you look like me.
The girl in the movie is called Maya Zapata and is fully native American.

Look how simlare Jlo’s features are with this girl.
I would say JLO might even have more native blood than anything else.

  3. is says:

I would guess she is 20% african, 50% caucasian, 30% amerindian.

An old JLO documentary back in 2000 claimed she is Caucasian, Native/Amerindian and black.

    • brandie says:

yeah what documentary was that? anyway you are absolutely right as i said before i was on the mulatto.org and they basically gave her racial makeup. spanish, mixed with taino/arawak indian, and african extraction.

      THERE YOU GO!!!

and by the way her mother is a mixed puerto rican

      • Silence says:

Puerto Rican is a nationality just as Italian, Irish, Angolan, Etiopian, and American etc…. Within each nationality there MAY BE several racial makeups i.e. there are white Americans, Black Americans, Asian Americans etc. Jennifer’s parents are both white Puerto Ricans ( just by viewing a picture of her parents) as you can tell by viewing a picture of her parents. To say that all Puerto Ricans are black is like saying all Americans are white…. Now if we did a DNA test on Jenny, I’m sure we would find that the largest percentage of her blood is European ( it’s plainly visible in her, her parents and all her siblings) the next percentage of blood we would find would be Taino (Indigenous people of the Island) next we MAY find possibly 2-3 percent Sub Saharan African (MAYBE) Not too long ago, George Lopez was DNA tested and he learned he was 35% European, 52% Indigenous (Maya/Aztec) 7% Asian, and 6% Sub Saharan African….. Looking at George and his family we can all see he is very dark and not unlike most Latin American countries, the Spanish brought African slaves. I did a search on Puerto Rico’s racial makeup and I found that 67% of the P.R. population is European 24% Indigenous, 6% Asian, and 3% Sub Saharan African ( with Loiza being the area of concentrated Sub Saharan African blood)…. Again, it’s not hard to see. If there was a significant % of African blood in Jenny’s racial make up, someone in her immediate family would show. I am of Latin American background ( I show Indigenous, European ) yet my grandfather, of Mexican nationality, was a black man. In my immediate family some of us have strong black features (hair, skin color, nose) while others look like me and still others look very light (European) unlike Jenny’s family that all look only European… You have to remember, alot of Europeans did not marry or have children with nonwhites (that’s just the way it was)… Some Latinos are Indigenous others Sub Saharan African or European while others are a combination of the three…. To suggest Jenny’s butt is evidence of her African blood is like saying Marc Anthony’s nose is indicative of Australian Aboriginal roots (not happening) Jenny had a chance to have her DNA tested on the George Lopez show ( she wouldn’t have it) I think she did not want to expose her mostly white blood (but that’s just my opinion)

          To Silence

I think you need to do just that,be silent.First your percentages are all off.George’s percentages are off also, and I also provided Dna test results done on people of PR,and they seem to be different from your,if you go to the older comments you’ll see it.Now everything you wrote was just your opinion, what you’re basing your opinion is no better than what I basing my opinion on.Because her skin color or features mean nothing,if your on this site long enough you’ll see that
