  3. SAMOANHALFHAWAIIAN says:

King kamehemeha was samoan and yeah hawaiians descended from samoa! The true native hawaiians know that! …just these hawaiian half bloods that deny cuz they’re so mixed in bloodlinessmh!

    • Tyrone says:

Umm have you done your research??? only the noble aliis of Hawaii can trace their ancestry back to Samoa but overall they came from the Marquesas who came from Samoa…. DUrrr

  4. Steven Thomson says:

First of all… it is believed that the Samoans were the first to occupy Hawaii. According to the accounts of King Kalakaua – King Kamehameha was also a descendant of Pili who traveled from Samoa.

Second…. The first queen of Samoa was the daughter of Lavea Ulufanua Sese’e (a Samoan Warrior) and his own niece Tilafaiga the twin sister of Taema. The story states that the two girls swam from Fiji to Samoa without names. Thats why their names come from the rubbish floating past them while they were swimming back to Samoa. The first Samoa Queen was Nafanua (She too was a warrior like her father). The story was funny because no-one knew that their war leader was a woman until her titi lauti (skirt) fell off. She fought, conquer and unite Samoa for the first time.
The story of the malie-toa malo-tau is much much recent for your infomation

actually hawaiian and samoan are the same race, pacific islander with decent from asia which would classify you as a branch of mongoloid. the adaptation of being larger, than say, a southeast asian is due to isolation on a location with an over adequate amount of sunlight, vegitation, and food.
