Hendrick Adolph Stammel and Barbara A. Strobel doesn’t sound like Danish people. They were likely Germans. The 1900 and 1910 censuses says that Hendrick’s parents were Germans. The 1900 census says that Barbara’s parents were German. There are ethnic Germans in Denmark.
