Ian Karmel is an American stand-up comedian and writer. He was co-head writer for The Late Late Show with James Corden, and has also written for the Emmy Awards, the Tony Awards, and Carpool Karaoke: When Corden Met McCartney Live From Liverpool.

Ian was born in Portland, Oregon, and was raised in neighboring Beaverton. He is married to journalist, screenwriter, and author Dana Schwartz.
