Greg Garcia is an American television director, writer, and producer. He is known for directing and writing episodes of the series My Name Is Earl, The Guest Book and Sprung. He is also sometimes credited as Gregory Thomas Garcia.

He is married to Kim, with whom he has three children.

Greg’s paternal grandfather was Thomas Herbert Garcia (the son of Charles Francis Garcia and Anna Mary Fowler). Thomas was born in Washington, D.C. Charles was also born in Washington, D.C., the son of Charles W. F. Garcia, whose father was Spanish, from Pozuelo, Albacete, Castilla-La Mancha; and of Laura Rebecca Walker. Anna was born in Maryland, the daughter of Charles Herbert Fowler and Anna M. O’Brien.

Greg’s paternal grandmother was Grace Lorraine Hack (the daughter of George Edgar Storrer/Storer Hack and Mabel Estelle Hutcherson/Hutchinson). Grace was born in Washington, D.C. George was born in Maryland, and was possibly the son of Katie. Mabel was born in Washington, D.C., the daughter of John F. Hutcherson and Margaret H. Manion.

Greg’s maternal grandfather was Wilfrid John Dierkes (the son of Henry R. Dierkes/Durkes and Hannah E. Becker/Baker). Wilfrid was born in New York. Henry was born in New York, to German parents, Hubert Dierkes and Mary Deibler. Hannah was born in New York, the daughter of Jacob Becker and Catherine Daugherty.

Greg’s maternal grandmother was Emma Lou Atkinson (the daughter of William Henry Atkinson and Sallie Clare Bass). Emma was born in Georgia. William was born in Georgia, the son of Elias Reed Atkinson and Lucy E. Berrie. Sallie was born in North Carolina, the daughter of John William Rufus Bass and Emma Faison Best.
