Genie Francis is an American actress. She is known for her roles on the soap operas General Hospital, Days of Our Lives, All My Children, and The Young and the Restless.

Genie is the daughter of Rosemary, a model, and Ivor Francis, a Canadian actor and acting teacher. Her father was born in Toronto, Ontario, of English descent. Her mother is said to have had Lithuanian, and possibly other, ancestry. Genie is married to actor and director Jonathan Frakes, with whom she has two children.

Genie’s paternal grandfather was named Ernest G. Francis. Ernest was born in Wales, to parents from England.
