Dominic Cardy is a Canadian politician. Federally, he has been Interim Leader of the Canadian Future Party, which he founded, since 20 September, 2023. In New Brunswick, he has been Leader of the New Brunswick New Democratic Party, from 2 March, 2011 to 1 January, 2017, Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development, from 9 November, 2018 to 13 October, 2022; as well as chief of staff to the Progressive Conservative Party of New Brunswick caucus.

He moved to Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, as a child.

Dominic’s maternal grandfather was surnamed Costelloe.
