Diane Humetewa has been Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, since May 16, 2014. She was previously U.S. Attorney for the District of Arizona, from December 17, 2007 to August 2, 2009. She is the first Native American woman to become a federal judge. She is an enrolled member of the Hopi tribe.
She is the daughter of Ella Mary and Donald A. Humetewa. Diane is married to Miguel Juarez.
