She looks exotic.
I can see the Lebanese in her
Hey why you call Bollycurry ??? its not Fun
She is a Beautiful Lady no doubt .
Her ethnicity is not mexican. She lives in Mexico but she did not born there and none of her parents were mexican so this is wrong. She was born in Uruguay and is of spanish-basque,japanese and lebanese descent.
Yes she is?? It clearly says that her mother is mexican. She was born Barbara Mori Ochoa, which is a very common Mexican last name. So she does have Mexican in her. She looks white because many northern Mexicans are because of the mixing between the mestizos and white Spaniards that came from Spain. Please educate yourself on this issue.
I have seen all the biographies and interviews and any said that her mother is mexican.Ochoa is a Spanish last name and can be found in Uruguay also.
This is what Bárbara Mori said in a Monday, May 10, 2010 interview at India-Forums, “‘I’m not a perfect person’ – Barbara Mori
Beautiful Barbara Mori on an unhurried chat with Bollycurry…”
“I was born in Uruguay and grew up in Mexico. I have an Asian root too as my paternal grandfather is Japanese. I have worked in 10 soap operas and 6 movies. I started working when I was fourteen as a waitress. I started modeling when I was seventeen. Later soap operas happened and films followed.”

Her having one of her grandparents being Japanese makes Bárbara Mori one quarter Japanese.
Her father Yuyi (Spanish spelling for the Japanese given names Yuji and Yūji/Yuuji, since j’s are pronounced like h’s in Spanish and y’s can be pronounced like j’s in Spanish) Mori, her younger brother Kintaró (Spanish spelling for the Japanese given name Kintarō/Kintarou) Mori, and her older sister Kenya (Kenya, or Ken’ya, can be a Japanese given name) Mori have Japanese first names.
