I am olive skinned and Indian and when I have been in Spain and Italy the Spanish and Italians are confused that I am not responding to them in Spanish and Italian .So being with 100 English people they will pick me out to speak to in Spanish or Italian.They serve me first.They are especially friendly and confused when all I can do is smile and nod.I think they put it down to me being of Spanish parents immigrating to the USA and not being taught Spanish by mom and dad !There are Indian shopkeepers there and the Spanish are fine with them.There are people from South American countries.
So I deduced from that over the years and by looking at the main olive skin tone that the olive skin tone is what they believe is Spanish or Italian

It doesn’t matter if someone is Olive color in tone. Spaniards aren’t considered white because they’re in Europe. They’re considered white because THEY ARE white. They share genetic affinity with other European nations and are arguably one of the most homogeneous nations in Europe.
As for culture. Anglo vs Latin. Thats debatable, Anglo culture helped create the modern world and pumped out many things that changed the world and our perception of it. Much of the modern innovations and inventions we use came from Anglos. England & Scotland mostly. Computers, Televisions, Internet, World Wide Web, Theory of Evolution, Three Laws of motion, Industrial Revolution, Much of the sports we play, Our legal systems, what Anglos also did for Agricultural, Science, Military, Chemistry, Medicine, Film, Music, & Literature is also unmatched…..the list is endless. Latin culture gets credit for birthing civilization (Even though the Romans got it from The Greeks who also got it from people in Asia) but Anglo culture took it to a new level that no Latin group has ever taken it.
I am mistaken for being Spanish and my sisters are mistaken for Latin American. I am from India (very wierd I know). Apparently on my dad´s side there´s a rumor going on that my forefathers on my paternal side are in fact from Portugal!
My dad looks like Julian Mcmahon, but now when he is older he resembles old Antonio Banderas (a lot like 90 % resmblance) Which is strange. But yeah, I believe the reason I´m mistaken for Spanish is because of my dad´s resemblance with Antonio Banderas.
