Yael Stone is an Australian actress. She is known for portraying Lorna Morello on the series Orange is the New Black.

She is the daughter of Judy, a nurse, and Harry Stone, an architect. Her father was born in Czechoslovakia, the son of Jewish parents who survived the Holocaust; his own mother was a Romanian Jew. Yael’s mother, who is from Newcastle, was raised Catholic, and converted to Judaism. Her brother, Jake Stone, was the lead singer of band Bluejuice, and her sister, Elana Stone, is also a musician.

Yael has two children with her partner Jack Manning Bancroft, who founded AIME (Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience).
