Tom is the son of Debbie (Selvester) and Robert Daley. He is married to American screenwriter, director, and producer Dustin Lance Black, with whom he has two children.
Tom’s family surname was changed from Deeley to Daley around the 1890s. Tom’s patrilineal ancestry can be traced back to his great-great-great-great-grandparents, John Deeley and Catherine Maria McDermot, who moved from Roscommon, Ireland, to Birmingham, England, in the 1830s.
Tom’s paternal grandfather is David C. Daley (the son of James Joseph William Daley and Winifred Irene Eastlake). David was born in Plymouth, Devon, England. James was the son of Henry Deeley and Emily Heath. Winifred was the daughter of William George Eastlake and Blanche Mary Sawdy.
Tom’s paternal grandmother is Rose-Marie J. Lucas (the daughter of Wesley William Alfred Robert Lucas and Julia Millicent Edgecombe). Rose-Marie was born in Plymouth, Devon, England. Wesley was the son of Wesley John Lucas and Elfrida/Elfreda Louise Foot; Elfrida was a first cousin of politician Michael Foot (Michael Mackintosh Foot). This makes Tom Daley and Michael Foot first cousins, four times removed. Tom’s great-grandmother Julia Edgecombe was the daughter of Frederick Edgecombe and Julia Blanche Hehir, whose father was of Irish origin.
Tom’s maternal grandfather is Douglas William “Dougie” Selvester/Silvester (the son of Frank Silvester and Florence M. Ward). Douglas was born in Plymouth, Devon, England.
Tom’s maternal grandmother is Jennifer A. Collins (the daughter of Theodore W. L. Collins and Irene G. Barley). Jennifer was born in Plymouth, Devon, England.

From traveling, he looks almost Indian. Indian not Native American.
But really he just looks like a Brit with a tan. At the end of the day we are all human and this website is stupid.
He may have Indian blood a long way back.
He almost looks like a Christmas elf
He reminds me a lot of actor James Newman (who is of three quarters Ashkenazi Jewish descent).

This guy clearly has some other as of yet unknown ancestry, I cant believe this was accepted. lets compare him to some of his supporters in the crowd http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/sport/files/2012/02/crowd.jpg
He clearly resembles the middle easterns in the crowd not the Brits. Heres another British crowd, he would stick out here. http://i.imgur.com/tPbVIvv.jpg
I put up his ancestry now. He’s a typical English kid.
And he isn’t that Irish, either.
There is English people that look like him.
P.S., these are his maternal grandparents. He probably resembles that side of the family more.

scott you alwais think English people must have blond hair and blue eyes lol, I cant get what is exotic in this guy. You said the same about Russel Brand. Seriously, do you really know English people? Probably not
in general english people have light hair and eyes, if this guy didn’t have brown eyes & dark hair and didn’t spend so much time in the sun, his english appearance would be more evident, his phenotype does look british, more alpine i’d say, but in having said that i wouldn’t be surprised if he has some sort of mediterranean ancestry
You guys think every British person with dark hair and eyes are not actually British, even though they are …
You’ve got to look at the features and his features aren’t middle eastern. He’s just got darker than average colouring. He might spend a lot of time in a sunnier climate with the tan he has. Most people have some foreign ancestry if they go back enough in their family tree. He appears to have mostly English ancestry though.
He looks Italian the Romans were in Britain for nearly 400 years the Romans eventually married local British women and bred with them.
gay
problem with that?
no, he’s openly gay. I thought it should be written
oh really now? then perhaps you should go on all the other celebrity entries and comment “straight” perhaps that needs to be written as well
Ian Thorpe?
