Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, also known as Sophie Grégoire or Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau, is a Canadian television host. She is the First Lady of Canada, as the wife of Justin Trudeau, who has been Prime Minister of Canada, since November 4, 2015.
Sophie is the daughter of Estelle Blais, a nurse, and Jean Grégoire, a stockbroker. Her family lived in Sainte-Adèle, north of Montréal. Sophie and Justin have three children.
Sophie’s paternal grandfather is Jacques Gregoire (the son of Marie-Louis Gregoire and Julia Cote). Marie-Louis was the son of Godfroi Gregoire and Marie-Louise-Zenaide Savoie. Julia was the daughter of Jules-Michel Cote and Albina Cote.
Sophie’s paternal grandmother was Madeleine Lampron (the daughter of Ephrem Lampron and Bernadette Bronsard). Ephrem was the son of Napoleon Lampron and Apolline Descôteaux. Bernadette was the daughter of Germain Bronsard and Marie Trudel.
