Mackenzie Astin is an American actor. He is the son of actors John Astin and Patty Duke. His brother is actor Sean Astin (Sean is the biological son of Michael Tell and Patty Duke). His niece is actress Ali Astin. Mackenzie is married to Jennifer Astin.

Mackenzie’s father has English, Irish, and Scottish ancestry. Mackenzie’s mother was of seven eighths Irish and one eighth German descent.
