He probably doesn’t know. A lot don’t know they’re exact race. Especially people from the caribbean, whose ancestors have been mixing at least 200 years or so.

He is probably a mix of spaniard and or native american and african.

Well At Least He Sees Him Self As A Puerto Rican! I Don’t Think People Should Identify With Race Only With Nationality, And Culture!

I Just Think There Is Too Much Race War Going On Then Culture Or Nationality War!

if you look at latino/hispanics history they are not even spanish..! their roots come from africa, haiti, native americans, and some white ppl..! so they can’t try to be black if they already are..! the only ppl that are actually spanish are the one’s that came directly from spain…..so there fore latino’s don’t try hard to be black because their history shows that they already are..! & you don’t have to argue with me just look it up for yourself..!

i agree. i wish people wouldn’t use term the black anymore it’s getting me confused in my eyes there are the real black people meaning from africa and then people OF african descent in the americas which is a lot of people of course in a variety of countries. what’s the big deal a lot of people have african in them some it’s more observable. people in the caribbean are no more mixed than black people in north america. the difference is historically in north america no one cared whetehr you were 1/2 or 1/4 or 1/8 black (they actually used to claculate how mucch black was in you) at the end of the day because of the one drop rule you were considered black. so it’s not lik black americans don’ have ancestors of different races like in other coutnries the system in north america was different and more strict and didn;t allow that. not to mention africans in north america were enslaved mainly by the british whereas the rest of the americas it was catholic french, portuguese or spanish. racial mixing wasn’t looked down as much with these groups since the catholic church ruled that it was okay and these groups didn’t have access to women of their own racial origin like white americans did. this further led to more intermixing in other parts of the americas. not to mention north america had the least amount of slaves brought over in comparison to other countries.
