Google “Peter Swartling” he’s an ethnic Swede who looks part black and resembles Fat Joe.

This guy (Fat Joe) is probably like 75% Euro and the being SSA (Sub-Saharan African) admixture with slight Native.

Why do people get so offended when Fat Joe says nigga in his music? He was raised in the hood and he’s Latino.

xoxo October 29, 2015 at 6:54 am

He probably has some black in him because he’s part Puerto Rican.

Oh and Cuban too. Cubans have some black blood, YES even the “white-looking” Cubans.

Wasnt the ‘N’ word suppose to be used to discriminate you guys back in the day?? why does it seem to be ok nw?????

Loc Dsk January 10, 2013 at 7:39 pm

So since I’m light skin black with Fat Joe’s skin tone and I’m a direct decent of a half black woman I can not say “nigga”? I’m black but I’m light explain this to me

fuzzybear44 May 26, 2017 at 12:23 am

@ loc dsk

who says you couldn’t say that word?

sarahle January 19, 2014 at 9:09 am

It shouldn’t be used by anyone!!! Pls explain why a darker person is allowed to use it just because of its skin colour?? So stupid explanation… it’s even more stupid used as a black person to each other… think about it!

The logic behind using the word so much, is to take the power away from the word, I heard the word so much, it doesn’t bother me at all Black guys tend to use it as a form of comradery . These days, everyone calls themselves the N-word. I’ve even heard teenage Asian girls calling themselves the N-word. My white friend Mark said it sometimes, but we never did anything to him, although Mark thought he was more black than we were.. I visited his home one time, walked into his room and looked around, and left his house feeling I wasn’t black enough. Most of the time, being called the N-word doesn’t really bother black people(at least in my experience). They just use it as an excuse to kick white peoples A$$

In one of his album covers, Fat Joe does say he is part Cuban in his thank you’s.

Anonymous June 14, 2010 at 11:20 am

I have never heard of him being anything other than Puerto Rican. He has only said that he is Puerto Rican and that’s it

ethnic June 14, 2010 at 11:36 am

you might be right. thanks

Adriana June 14, 2010 at 11:42 am

He probably doesn’t know. A lot don’t know they’re exact race. Especially people from the caribbean, whose ancestors have been mixing at least 200 years or so.

He is probably a mix of spaniard and or native american and african.

Adriana June 14, 2010 at 11:43 am

a lot of people don’t know* their*** exact race sorry for typo!

Delnegro July 28, 2011 at 2:18 am

Your right. All I know is that my moms family from Belize and bahamas and she said she’s full black but i don’t think so.

Total23 June 14, 2010 at 2:17 pm

Well At Least He Sees Him Self As A Puerto Rican! I Don’t Think People Should Identify With Race Only With Nationality, And Culture!

I Just Think There Is Too Much Race War Going On Then Culture Or Nationality War!

color? April 19, 2010 at 4:39 am

minorities always say the “n” word i say they need to stop because it makes them look stupid

moi July 15, 2010 at 7:30 pm

you had to stop using the n word because you used it to ostracise people

p April 17, 2010 at 4:18 am

i dont kno but theres some hispanics not all of them but its like there trying so hard to be black or prove dat there something idont know no offense

MLei June 5, 2011 at 10:07 am

if you look at latino/hispanics history they are not even spanish..! their roots come from africa, haiti, native americans, and some white ppl..! so they can’t try to be black if they already are..! the only ppl that are actually spanish are the one’s that came directly from spain…..so there fore latino’s don’t try hard to be black because their history shows that they already are..! & you don’t have to argue with me just look it up for yourself..!

mdd August 29, 2011 at 8:42 pm

i agree. i wish people wouldn’t use term the black anymore it’s getting me confused in my eyes there are the real black people meaning from africa and then people OF african descent in the americas which is a lot of people of course in a variety of countries. what’s the big deal a lot of people have african in them some it’s more observable. people in the caribbean are no more mixed than black people in north america. the difference is historically in north america no one cared whetehr you were 1/2 or 1/4 or 1/8 black (they actually used to claculate how mucch black was in you) at the end of the day because of the one drop rule you were considered black. so it’s not lik black americans don’ have ancestors of different races like in other coutnries the system in north america was different and more strict and didn;t allow that. not to mention africans in north america were enslaved mainly by the british whereas the rest of the americas it was catholic french, portuguese or spanish. racial mixing wasn’t looked down as much with these groups since the catholic church ruled that it was okay and these groups didn’t have access to women of their own racial origin like white americans did. this further led to more intermixing in other parts of the americas. not to mention north america had the least amount of slaves brought over in comparison to other countries.
