Zico is a Brazilian professional footballer and coach. He is considered one of the greatest players of all time. He is nicknamed “White Pelé.”

Zico is the son of Matilde Ferreira da Costa and José Antunes Coimbra, a Portuguese emigrant, from Tondela, Viseu District, Portugal. His brother is professional footballer and manager Edu Coimbra. He is married to Sandra Carvalho de Sá, with whom he has three children.

Zico’s paternal grandfather was named Fernando Antunes Coimbra.

Zico’s paternal grandmother was named Elisa Antunes Coimbra.

Zico’s maternal grandfather was named Arthur Ferreira da Costa Silva. Arthur was born in Oliveira de Azeméis, Aveiro District, Portugal.
