Zach Bryan is an American country music singer and songwriter. He is known for his songs “Something in the Orange,” “Dawns,” “I Remember Everything,” “East Side of Sorrow,” “Hey Driver,” “Tourniquet,” and “Spotless.”

He was born in Okinawa, Japan, the son of American parents, Annette and Dewayne Bryan, while his father was in the U.S. Navy. He grew up in Oologah, Oklahoma. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he was an active duty member, at the age of seventeen.

Zach’s paternal grandfather was Allan Eugene Bryan (the son of Walter Eugene “Jack” Bryan and Rosebud Joy Teague). Allan was born in Sedan, Kansas. Walter was the son of Richard Alexander Bryan and Eva Mae Bays. Rosebud was the daughter of John Henry Teague and Hazel Claudie Carrell.

Zach’s paternal grandmother is the daughter of Benjamin Roy Spencer and Marguerite Julia Parsley. Benjamin was the son of Icam Benjamin Spencer and Annie Susan Allison. Marguerite was the daughter of William McKinley Parsley and Laura Belle Willhite.

Zach’s maternal grandfather is Proctor Mullen, Jr. (the son of Proctor Mullen and Alma Ethel Wertman). Zach’s great-grandfather Proctor was the son of Samuel M. Mullen and Eliza Alice Proctor. Alma was the daughter of George Washington Wertman/Werkmam/Wertmar and Naamah Munk, whose father was German.

Zach’s maternal grandmother is Barbara Ann/Anna Sherman (the daughter of Aden Sherman and Rebecca Mae Butler). Aden was the son of Charles L. Sherman and Laura Anna Simons. Rebecca was the daughter of John Clark Butler and Anna F. Brown.

    I do Not want to be rude but please make sure to add distant Swiss. He descends from a few Swiss people on the Cook line.
