Yasiel Puig is a Cuban-American professional baseball player. A right fielder, he plays for El Águila de Veracruz of the Mexican League. He was previously with the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Cleveland Indians of Major League Baseball (MLB), and the Kiwoom Heroes. He is nicknamed “The Wild Horse.”

Yasiel is the son of Maritza Valdés and Omar Puig. He became a U.S. citizen in 2019. Yasiel began playing in Cuba. He has four children.
