Ty Law is an American professional football player. He was a cornerback, who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 15 seasons, primarily with the New England Patriots, as well as the New York Jets, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Denver Broncos. He is considered one of the best defensive backs of all time.

Ty is the son of Diane and Larry Jeter. His parents are both African-American. His uncle is professional football player Tony Dorsett.
