Both Jonofsky and Gorovitch strike me as Jewish names, though, but I couldn’t find any other Jane Allen with an Eastern European mother.
Etty Jonofsky was definitely Jewish, and it’s the same woman in all of those records.
I just haven’t been able to confirm if she is Myles’ grandmother, though.
Myles’ mother seems to be the right age, but the Jewish Jane Allan has the middle initial “N”, while Myles’ parents’ marriage record lists no middle initial for Jane (nor does any other resource I can find). I also think the Jewish Jane Allan married someone else, around the same location she was born in.
It’s also possible that Myles was misquoted, and that it’s her paternal grandmother who is Russian.
If it helps Sophia has stated she is half Welsh a few times, and more specifically her mother is completely Welsh.

Judging from other tweets her mother Jane was born July 20, not sure which year however.
