Scotty McCreery is an American country singer. He won the tenth season of the show American Idol (in 2011). See other American Idol winners here.
He is the son of Judy, a real estate agent, and Michael McCreery, a manufacturing systems analyst. His father was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, to a military father from the U.S. mainland, and a Puerto Rican mother. Scotty is the first American Idol winner to have Hispanic ancestry, and the last one until 2020.
He is married to Gabi Dugal, with whom he has a son.
Scotty’s paternal grandfather was named William James McCreery II (the son of William James McCreery).
Scotty’s paternal grandmother was named Paquita Rivera Rotger.

I went to school with his sister and she never said anything about having Purto Ricans (Which are Spanish-Americans) in her fathers side. From Both side their family look 100% Irish. They wouldv’e spoke Spanish today.
Naima Adedapo, Ashthon Jones, or Thia Megia should’ve won. All 3 of them had more talent then any of the last 6 contestants. but scotty’s cute ;*
