Russell Johnson was an American actor. He was known for playing Professor Roy Hinkley on Gilligan’s Island and Marshal Gib Scott on Black Saddle.
Russell was the son of Marion Wenonah and Russell Kennedy Johnson. His mother was likely of entirely German descent. He was married to actress and screenwriter Kay Cousins Johnson, until her death, and to Constance Dane, until his death. He had two children with Kay.
