Richard Denning was an American actor. His roles included the films Unknown Island, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Target Earth, Day the World Ended, The Black Scorpion, An Affair to Remember, and Twice-Told Tales, and radio’s My Favorite Husband, with Lucille Ball; among other works.
Richard was the son of Anna Marie and Louis Andrew Denninger. His grandparents were all German. He was raised in Los Angeles, California. Richard was married to British-American actress Evelyn Ankers, until her death, and then to Patricia Leffingwell, until his death. He had a daughter with Evelyn.
