Rachel Sennott is an American comedian, actress, and screenwriter. She has starred in the films Tahara, Shiva Baby, Bodies Bodies Bodies, Bottoms, which she co-wrote; I Used to Be Funny, Finally Dawn, and Saturday Night, and appeared on the shows Call Your Mother and The Idol. She performed on the New York City open mic scene.

Rachel was raised Catholic. Her father is of Irish, and one eighth Scottish, descent. Her mother is of Italian origin. She grew up in Simsbury, Connecticut.

Rachel’s paternal grandfather is likely named John Sennott (the son of George F. Sennott and Katherine Veronica Langton). George was the son of George Nicholas Sennott, whose parents were born in England, with Irish ancestry; and of Mary E. Carey, who was born in Tyrrellspass, Westmeath, Ireland. Rachel’s maternal grandmother was June M. Persico (the daughter of Angelo Anthony Persico and Emma Benassi). June was born in Derby, Connecticut. Angelo was the son of Francesco Antonio Persico and Maria Signore, who were from Minturno, Rome, Lazio, Italy. Emma was the daughter of Martino Benassi and Amelia Barbiero.

While her characters in Tahara and Shiva Baby are Jewish, Rachel is not Jewish in real life.
