Phil Scott is an American politician, businessperson, and stock car racer. A Republican, he has been Governor of Vermont, since January 5, 2017. He was previously Lieutenant Governor of Vermont, from January 6, 2011 to January 5, 2017, among other duties.
Phil is the son of Marian (DuBois) and Howard Roy Scott. He is married to Diana McTeague, and has two children.
