Peter Sollett is an American film director and screenwriter. He has directed the films Raising Victor Vargas, Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist, Freeheld, and Metal Lords.

Peter is the son of Helene and Rob Sollett. He is married to Spanish screenwriter, director, and producer Eva Vives, with whom he has a son. Peter and Eva co-wrote Raising Victor Vargas.

Peter’s maternal grandfather was named Steven Ian “Steve” Kandler.
