Don’t know, i think she problably has some spanish ancestry on her Filipino side, and btw ”filipino” its not an ethnicity, its a nationality. Do you guys think the whole world is like northern europe and east asia, where ethnicity and nationality are the same thing? lol… Filipinos are mostly mixed, a lot of them have spaniard and portuguese blood, and she’s definitely too plain to be half asian, her skin is pale, her eyes and facial bone structure are not the ones of a person who has a full asian parent, an half white half asian person would be someone that varies from Henry Golding to Kristin Kreuk.

*Not to mention her classically european thin lips and nose, also her hair texture is not east or southeast asian-like at all…

Once again with the snide aggressive posts. Perhaps they put Filipinio because they don’t know which specific ethnic group she descends from. Instead, you simply assume you’re smarter than anyone who posts here and that the person who added this profile is dumb or ignorant.

What exactly is your problem? Your issue?

Your average Filipino are mostly homogeneously asian, your average filipino is no more Spanish than Elizabeth Warren is Native American…

Her dad thru his maternal side is mixed with white-american (Pauline Cantrell). Her 3/4 filipino, 1/4 white dad looks very dark, and very much asian still.

Olivia is 3/8 filipino so she is 37.5% [southeast] asian genetically

the Spanish were VERY MUCH a ruling class in Philippines, very little intermingling, nowadays the Filipinos are almost obssesed with having Spanish/European heritage to make themselves look more “classy”, most of their Spanish heritage is in the names they were baptised with and in their language which has Spanish influence.
As far as I understand most of the forces Spain used to both conquer and administrate the Philippines were actually American natives who worked for the Spanish crown.
Now, Portuguese? the only Portuguese influence of Philippines is Ferdinand Magellan, who was Portuguese and discovered Philippines under the crown of Spain, that’s about it

filipinos are both an ethnicity and nationality. yes not every filipino is pure due to colonization however they would have little percentage of spainard/portuguese in them. race is based by appearance and being mixed takes on the genetics by parents on how your gonna look.
