Nina Jacobson is an American film executive. She is the producer of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid and The Hunger Games films, among many others, and founded the production company Color Force. She was president of Buena Vista Motion Pictures Group, a Walt Disney subsidiary.
Nina is the daughter of Sandy and Norman Jacobson. She is married to Jen Bleakley, with whom she has three children. She and producer Bruce Cohen co-founded Out There, a collection of LGBT entertainment industry activists.
Nina’s paternal grandfather was named Joseph Jacobson (the son of Louis Jacobson and Gertrude). Joseph was born in Illinois, to Russian Jewish parents.
