Nik Kershaw is an English musician and record producer.

His father, Douglas John “Doug” Kershaw, was a flautist. His mother, Evelyn Joan (Butcher), was an opera singer.

Nik has three children with his former wife, Canadian musician Sheri (Hamill) Kershaw, and a son with his wife, Sarah.

Nik’s paternal grandfather was named Tom Kershaw.

Nik’s paternal grandmother was Kate Isabella Colegate (the daughter of Henry Colegate and Anna Maria Keast). Kate was born in Colby, Norfolk. Henry was the son of John Dismore and Ellen Colegate. Anna was born in Gibraltar, the daughter of Henry Keast, who was from Cornwall, and of Mary Ann Murphy, who was from Ireland.
