Jill Stein is an American physician, activist, and politician. She has campaigned on a Green New Deal, addressing climate change, income inequality, and political reform.
She is the Green Party’s nominee for President of the United States in 2024.
She was previously the Green Party’s nominee for President of the United States in 2012 and 2016.
Jill is the daughter of Gladys (Wool) and Joseph Stein. She was raised in Highland Park, Illinois. She is married to physician Richard Rohrer, with whom she has two children.
Jill’s paternal grandfather was named Abraham “Abe” Stein. Abraham was a Jewish emigrant, from Russia/Poland.
